Within the TELLi consortium, the Telecontrol task offers the inseparable complement to the progress towards the autonomy of future trains. Whether for maneuvers in the technical center, setting up at the first station in the morning or remote recovery in the event of an incident detected by autonomous driving, Telecontrol will allow remote operation in complete safety from an innovative console.
The first phase of the TELLi project was very rich in terms of remote control on the EKTACOM side:
- 7 phases of field tests,
- choice of sensors (camera, 3D audio, positioning, dynamics, etc.),
- creation of supervision tools from the ground,
- implementation of the adaptive transmission module from the edge to the ground.
The coming year will be just as productive, with the creation of a suitable console, its software development with innovative interfaces, the addition of intelligence on signal detection for driving assistance.
